1991 – 2000: Director: Centre for Applied Social Sciences (CASS), November 1991 to March 2000.
1998 – 2000: Member: Council of the Law Society of Namibia, elected at the Annual General Meetings in 1998 and 1999.
2001 – 2004: Director: NORED Electricity (Pty) Ltd. (Deputy Chairperson from 2003 to 2004).
2002 – 2005: Director: Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF), established in terms of NSFAF Act No. 26 of 2000. [Term December 2002 to December 2005]
2001 – 2002: Trustee: Windhoek International School Foundation.
2003 – 2006: Trustee: WaterNet Trust (being a SADC Trust on water related issues based in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Trust convened workshops and seminars on water related issues.)
2004 – 2008: Commissioner: Social Security Commission, established in terms of the Social Security Act of 1994 (Act No. 34 of 1994); First appointment made in November 2004, further appointed by the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare in terms of Section 4 (1) (a) of this Act as Chairperson for a period of three years commencing 1st October 2005. Term should have terminated on 31st October 2008, but extended to 30th November 2008.
2004 – 2009 (March): Commissioner: Transportation Commission of Namibia (Deputy Chairperson, appointed by HE the President in terms of Section 3 (1) of the Road Traffic and Transport Act of 1999, Act No. 22 of 1999).
2001 – 2009: Trustee: Legal Assistance Centre Trust.
2008 – 2010: Commissioner: Law Reform and Development Commission, administered by the Ministry of Justice.
2011 – 2017: Director: Namibia Training Authority, from 1st October 2011 – 30 September 2017, (two terms).
2012 – March 2018: Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF): Appointed as independent Member of Governance, Legal and Compliance Committee of the Board of Trustees with effect from March 2012.
2014 – Current: Director: August 26 Logistics (Pty) Ltd
2015 – February 2018: Chairperson: Namibian Competition Commission, from 13 February 2015.
